Youth Wrestling

Youth wrestling everybody wrote off as dying a slow death is premature. Youth wrestling has found a way to grow even through it's hard times. Many things have changed in the landscape of youth wrestling some bad and some good. Let's take a deeper look at youth wrestling. Youth wrestling has gone in cycles and that is a good thing in a way and a bad thing. The youth has changes their ideals and wrestling is really one of the sports that have suffered. Youth nowadays are playing soccer and giving up traditional sports that they would usually take on. Youth wrestling is one of those sports that really has taken a hit and right now it's struggling to survive. Another main problem that has hit youth wrestling hard is finding good coaches who are willing to spend time with them and give them the instruction they really need. Their are many positives though that people are doing to keep things moving in the right direction though.

One of the things that more people are promoting our youth wrestling tournaments. These tournaments foster goodwill and it let's people network with others to see what they are doing to keep youth wrestling going in the right direction. Networking is probably the one thing that has kept youth wrestling more alive than anything. Getting people together and talking about the state of youth wrestling is a good first step. The other big thing that really has help youth wrestling is the Internet. With the Internet youth wrestling can be spread to the masses alot faster than you could if you just did it by word of mouth. Message boards and forums are one way people are keep youth wrestling moving in a positive direction. Youth wrestling needs a big push by people if it's going to get back to what it once was. I don't know if we will ever see those levels again, but hopefully we will. The state of youth wrestling is getting better, but it's going to take sometime before we know if these newest methods are going to get the job done or not. Youth wrestling is a part of society that everyone should be able to at least try if they want to. Hopefully they will get that chance to see if it's for them or not.
