High School Wrestling
If their is one sport that has stood the test of time it would be high school wrestling. High school wrestling is a sport that more and more people are enjoying than ever before. Ohio High school wrestling have some of the toughest competition in the United States. it seems the midwest have some of the best wrestling teams in High School. High school wrestling is an individual sport where you are awarded points for take downs and different holds that you can get on your opponent. People think that high school wrestling isn't that tough, but if you have wrestled in high school you know how grueling it really can be. High school wrestling takes a toll on your body physically and mentally. If you wrestle in high school and win your weight class you have been through alot to do it. High school wrestling alot of times pits some of the best athletes in the school against each other. Don't knock high school wrestling especially if you haven't tried it or even had a match. You may be surprised how hard it really is.
Can high school wrestling actually take you anywhere in life? This is probably the most asked question among people and it really has a pretty simple answer. Yes, you can do alot with high school wrestling depending on what you want out of your career and how far you want to take it. Most high school wrestlers do go onto college with full scholarships and also go to the Olympics. After the Olympics their usually are many offers that will come your way so don't let people tell you that high school wrestling is just that a sport to waste your time at. Many high school wrestlers have turned their knowledge into very good paying jobs and businesses so don't kid yourself and think that high school wrestling is just for a bunch of muscle heads. You maybe real surprised at the people you could meet at a high school wrestling match. High school wrestling will continue to grow as more people realize what it can do fore you and how much fun you can actually have with it. As wrestling becomes more of a sport and not a fad to people than I guess we will give it the respect it deserves.
