Backyard wrestling is the term that was given to the many young men and even women who have tried to create a sport like the idols they see in the wrestling ring every week. The big difference is that death has come from what they have tried to do. basically backyard wrestling is setup in someone's backyard and they wrestle against each other with no real rules enforced. They try their favorite moves on others and some tragic stories have come from this kind of wrestling. Backyard wrestling continues to grow in popularity and even video game companies have jumped on the bandwagon. Backyard wrestling video games are very popular among this group of people. With the Internet many of these backyard wrestlers are filming their matches to show them on the Internet in hopes of impressing someone. Most of the time though all they do is get hurt. In the bigger backyard wrestling venues they even have wrestling leagues that compete against each other which makes backyard wrestling grow even more. Backyard wrestling pics are starting to pop up all over the Internet showing off what people are doing in their leagues.

These backyard wrestling exploits have caught the attention of professional wrestlers who have been promoting not to this stuff at home. Many of these backyard wrestlers are getting hurt and the wrestling alliances are starting to feel the pressure from people to help and try to control it. backyard wrestling keeps growing as it's hard to stop people as you can't police every back yard in the world. With video games jumping on this craze it has just made it grow even more. Backyard wrestling for all it's faults just keep on growing, but not at the rate it did a few years ago. The many injuries and deaths have had something to do with that though. The more publicized these backyard matches are the less likely they will continue to grow. The backyard wrestling craze though seems to be dying down and that is probably the best thing though. To many people were getting hurt in backyard wrestling and that has something to do with the wrestling base shying away from it. Hopefully backyard wrestling will never grow as big as it once was as losing a life just isn't worth it anymore just to have a little fun.
